The Board of the Palm Beach County Chapter of the ACLU of Florida is soliciting nominations for new Board members. We invite you to nominate an individual you believe is committed to civil rights and liberties.
The Chapter Board holds monthly meetings via Zoom and Board members are expected to serve on at least one committee. We are an active and congenial group firmly dedicated to championing civil rights and liberties in Palm Beach County and the state of Florida.
Please submit nominations to Sylvia Moffett (sylvia.s.moffett@gmail.com), Nominating Committee Chair, by Sunday, February 20, and include a paragraph describing the individual's particular interests in civil liberties. Self-nominations are welcome and expected.
All chapter members should save the date for our annual meeting on Sunday, March 13, at 2 p.m. (location or Zoom address to be announced). Board members are elected at this meeting by the membership.
