Doe v. SnyderWe filed an emergency motion for a temporary restraining order to allow an inmate in Martin County Jail to obtain an abortion.  The plaintiff discovered she was pregnant prior to her sentencing and made repeated requests to the sentencing judge and jail officials that she be granted a medical furlough to obtain the procedure.  However, the sentencing court denied her requests and, given the length of her sentence, the plaintiff’s ability to terminate her pregnancy was running out.

Gainesville Woman Care and Medical Students for Choice v. FloridaWe filed suit asking a state court to block a new law that would force a woman seeking an abortion to wait at least 24 hours after visiting the clinic to obtain care, delaying her abortion and forcing her to make an additional, unnecessary trip.
