On Thursday, March 10, the Pinellas Chapter of the ACLU of Florida is getting together for our 2022 annual meeting, board elections, and legal panel report. We hope you can join us!
The virtual event includes a great roster of interesting speakers and awardees. All ACLU members and supporters in Pinellas County are welcome to attend. During this event, we will be presenting the Gardner W. Beckett, Jr. Civil Liberties Award to Kanika Tomalin, former deputy mayor of St. Petersburg, and the Irene Miller Vigilance in Journalism Award to Rob Lorei for distinguished achievement in radio and television journalism.
Our Nominations Committee will also be presenting the following civil libertarians who have agreed to serve you for election or reelection to two-year terms. All current members of the local chapter who participate virtually in our annual event are eligible to vote.
