Overly broad bill that opens the door for civil lawsuits for damages against health care providers that provide abortion care.

Prohibits local governments, public schools and public universities from displaying flags – inside or outside of the building – expressing viewpoints the governor disapproves of regarding race, gender or sexual orientation (e.g., Black Lives Matter or Pride flags).

Chills speech by making it easier to sue and prevail on defamation claims against media/press/those who publish articles on the internet. Abolishes the Journalist’s Privilege in defamation actions under certain circumstances.

Prevents school districts from ensuring that individuals of all religions and those who do not practice any religion feel welcome and included. Erodes the separation of church and state by creating an environment rife for religious indoctrination.

Creates restrictions relating to diversity, equity, and inclusion in state agencies and medical institutions of higher education.

Among other things, it creates the State Board of Immigration Enforcement within the Department of Law Enforcement, comprising the Governor and Cabinet as agency head. Appropriates $300 million to support Trump’s mass deportation agenda.

Provides that “an unauthorized alien who is 18 years of age or older and who knowingly enters or attempts to enter this state after entering the United States by eluding or avoiding examination or inspection by immigration officers” commits a first degree misdemeanor punishable by 9 months in jail.

Prohibits Florida College System institutions and state universities with acceptance rates below 85% from admitting undocumented immigrants.

Revokes law licenses from Floridians who are permanent residents, visa holders, and DREAMers.
