Removes requirement for counties to use the most efficient and accurate ballot counting process. Current Florida Statutes require that counties must use electronic tabulation voting systems, which research has shown is more accurate and efficient than counting ballots by hand.

Requires law enforcement be stationed inside polling places while voting is taking place. Current law does not allow law enforcement to be inside polling places unless they are there for the purpose of voting or if they have the clerk’s permission.

Censors free speech and expression of state and local government employees and contractors by preventing adults from providing their own pronouns if they do not match the sex assigned on their birth certificate.

Chilling speech of individuals or entities that criticize public officials. Among other things, making it easier for public officials to sue for defamation by requiring the fact-finder to infer actual malice if the information is based wholly on an unverified anonymous source.

Criminalizes bystanders who stand within 20 feet (HB 75) or 14 feet (SB 184) of police officers engaging in excessive use of force and thus makes it harder to hold bad actors accountable by ensuring there is no eyewitness or video evidence (SB 184) of excessive use of force.

Making it unlawful for counties to pass or enforce civilian review boards to investigate law enforcement and hold law enforcement accountable.
