Yesterday, the Senate Committee on Education Pre-K -12 voted to pass Senate Bill (SB 1320), a bill that would ban classroom discussions related to sexual orientation and gender identity in schools through the 8th grade, and potentially through high school.

Today, the Senate Health Policy Committee voted to pass Senate Bill 300 (SB 300), a bill that prevents individuals from accessing safe and legal abortions after six weeks of pregnancy — before many even know they are pregnant — and would criminalize medical professionals providing life-saving care.
