PENSACOLA, Fla. – The American Civil Liberties Union of Florida and the Gay-Straight Alliance of the University of West Florida (UWF) will host “Homophobia in Pensacola, fact or fiction?” with Dr. Susan Walch of the University of West Florida Health Psychology Research Lab who will discuss research and findings from a local study examining the attitudes of more than 450 residents conducted by The University of West Florida. Learn how gender, race, religious affiliation, political affiliation, level of education, and individual interactions affect the climate of homophobia and fear of AIDS in the Florida panhandle. This event is free and open to the public.
