The bill criminalizes doctors for providing gender-affirming care to minors and allows a non-supportive parent to have the upper hand in child custody disputes in divorce proceedings if the other parent is supportive of their trans child’s health care. It imposes new onerous written consent procedures for gender-affirming care for adults, and requires that all care must be provided by an in-person physician.
