Take Action

There are many ways you can stand up for civil rights and liberties in Florida. From contacting elected officials, to signing petitions, to joining us at events and rallies—every action counts. Explore how you can get involved today.

Show Up. Speak Out. Take Action.

Participation is at the heart of change. When Floridians raise their voices together, lawmakers pay attention and communities grow stronger. The ACLU of Florida creates opportunities for you to take action in ways that match your interests and availability—from joining a campaign, to attending a local event, to organizing with other students on campus.

No matter where you start, your participation helps build a movement rooted in the belief that freedom belongs to all of us.

Our Work, Your Power

The ACLU of Florida doesn’t do this work alone. We do it with thousands of Floridians who are committed to protecting rights and holding power accountable. This movement thrives when everyday people take a stand. Whether at a rally or in a courtroom, our volunteers are the heartbeat of our work.
