For seventy years, the ACLU of Florida has defended freedom, justice, and equality on the front lines of civil rights. To mark this milestone, we invite artists across Florida to create original works that celebrate the courage behind this fight — and the people, movements, and moments that continue to inspire it.
We’re seeking art that embodies the courageous pursuit of our core values:
Freedom • Justice • Equality • Accountability • Dignity • Democracy • Liberty

Exhibit Opportunities
Selected artists will have the opportunity to display their work amidst potential patrons and supporters at one of our landmark anniversary events:
Artists may be selected to exhibit at either event, both celebrating the ACLU of Florida’s 70-year legacy and offering exposure to engaged, art-loving audiences. Artists are encouraged to set their own prices. All proceeds from sales go directly to the artist. If you wish to donate a portion to the ACLU of Florida Foundation, Inc., your generosity will be deeply appreciated — but it’s not required.
Accepted Mediums
Artists may submit works in any medium — including painting, drawing, or mixed media — as long as the piece is display-ready and fits within size requirements.
