LAUDERHILL, Florida - The family of Kevin Desir, a man killed while being detained at the North Broward Bureau detention center, and the Decarcerate Broward Coalition, a community organizing collective spearheaded by Chainless Change Inc., announced that they will host a silent march and vigil in honor of Kevin. The walk and vigil are intended to commemorate the life of Kevin Desir and object to the lack of oversight and accountability within the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
