The ACLU of Florida dares to create a more perfect union. This charge exists beyond one person, party, or side. Our commitment resides with the power of the people.
Florida is on the frontline standing against repressive government intrusion. From censorship and near-total abortion bans to discriminatory laws against immigrants and the LGBTQ+ community, Florida politicians have been chipping at our freedoms for years.
But we will not relinquish our freedoms to politicians. We, the people, hold the power to make our state truly free. A state where we are free to live without government interference. Free to learn without government censorship. Free to exist without the burden of discrimination.
The most fundamental way to fight against extreme agendas is by voting for your rights. This page is a central repository for what you need to know to be ready to participate and vote in the 2024 general election.
Voting is an act of resistance. Make sure you are ready to vote this November.

HELP PROTECT THE POLLS
If you agree that every eligible voter deserves to have their voice count, you can take action from home or in person by serving as a nonpartisan Election Protection volunteer.
Election Protection Poll Monitors are the essential eyes and ears on the ground to protect voting rights and are connected directly to a statewide command center of experts and lawyers who are ready to respond in real-time to stop voter suppression. Poll Monitors are stationed outside of priority polling locations during early voting and election day to make sure every registered voter gets to exercise their rights.
You will be trained to support voters by answering questions, reporting issues, and connecting voters denied the ballot to legal resources. Sign up now to volunteer or learn more: HelpFloridaVoters.org
