Our #LGBTQ+ community is coming together on Friday, August 5, to let the Florida Board of Medicine know that Floridians will always show up for trans lives.
The Florida Board of Medicine is meeting to discuss Surgeon General Ladapo's request for the Board to adopt a "standard of care" that opposes gender-affirming care for transgender youth — a move that would put the licenses of medical professionals at risk for providing life-saving care to transgender youth. All of these heinous efforts are being fueled by a debunked report from the Department of Health opposing gender-affirming care for youth.
Please show up at the hearing in Dania Beach on August 5.
Doors open at 7:00AM, and the meeting starts at 8:00AM., and is expected to run for the full day. A press conference will be held at 9:00AM with Equality Florida.
