Join the Broward County Chapter of the ACLU of Florida on Saturday, March 13 for their 2018 annual meeting and chapter elections.
Learn about the ACLU and chapter's 2018 organizational priorities — including voting restoration and criminal justice reform — and how we can speak truth to power in our communities.
Panelists will discuss the ACLU's resistance efforts over the past year, and how you can get involved in volunteer efforts happening around the state. They will also discuss the Flordia Constitution Revision Commission, what proposals could be placed automatically on the November ballot, and how we can mobilize against attacks on our constitiutional rights.
The meeting is open to members and supporters. For questions and to RSVP, email firstname.lastname@example.org. Light refreshments will be served.
