Key West - The Criminalization of Immigration in Florida

March 22, 2018 @ 6:00 pm

The escalating enforcement and policing of our vibrant immigrant community in the Florida Keys have raised serious concerns about due process and discrimination, and fears about the future. Join the Florida Keys Chapter of the ACLU of Florida on Thursday, March 22 in Key West for a conversation on current policies affecting the immigrant community in the Florida Keys and how we can develop a framework for support in our community.

Our panel will discuss the current state of immigration enforcement and ways to implement positive immigration policies that foster inclusion in our community.

The event is free and open to the public.
The panel discussion is sponsored by the ACLU of Florida, Southern Poverty Law Center, Women’s March Florida Keys Chapter, Florida Immigrant Coalition, Law Office of Reggie Smith, and Catholic Charities Archdiocese of Miami.
