Join the ACLU of Florida on Wednesday, October 24 for a special evening to celebrate our Executive Director Howard Simon, the longest serving director in the ACLU's 98-year history.
After 21 years at the ACLU of Florida, Howard will retire this year having faced some of the most challenging and decisive civil rights issues of the century. Join us for a riveting conversation with Nancy Ancrum, editorial page editor at the Miami Herald, and Howard Simon about his work for civil rights and social justice. You will hear about Howard's long and courageous journey and what he believes are the most important lessons from his career.
We will be joined by ACLU National Executive Director Anthony Romero, who will give the evenings introduction.
Tickets are $60 and include the champagne and dessert reception. Space is limited, so reserve your seats tonight!
You don't want to miss this special evening with Howard Simon.
