Major Gifts Officer

Jordan Alvarez joined the ACLU of Florida in May 2021. Prior to joining the ACLU, Jordan dedicated nearly a decade of fundraising to ensure children in the Tampa Bay Area and surrounding counties have safe, stable home environments through work in homelessness prevention and diversion, abuse and neglect prevention, therapeutic residential facilities, and affordable housing for families to build generational wealth. Most recently Jordan served as the Annual Fund Director for Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County.

A New Hampshire native, the Live Free or Die state, Jordan couldn’t wait to trade harsh winters for sandy beaches and is excited to bring that fighting spirit to defend Floridians’ basic rights, and fundamental liberties.
