Briana Isiminger is an attorney with more than nine years or experience working with immigrants. She has represented non-citizens in the private and nonprofit sectors, in defending against removal and detention, in their requests for immigration and citizenship benefits, and on administrative appeal and in Petitions for Review to federal courts of appeal.
Briana also worked for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services for four years, where she evaluated eligibility for immigration and citizenship benefits, asylum, and non-immigrant visa petitions. She also worked with the Office of the Chief Counsel on federal litigation matters.
Briana is now thrilled to be part of the ACLU of Florida and to fight for the rights of immigrants in Florida!
Briana is licensed to practice law in the state of Minnesota. She will seek admission to the Florida Bar in 2021.
