Obituary

Former NE Florida Board member Kathy Horak passed away on 6 June 2009.

Kathy Horak was a writer and an award-winning journalist. She believed in the First Amendment, separation of church and state, and that "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" means men and women have an inalienable right to privacy. Kathy is a member of the National Organization for Women. She lived in Detroit, Miami and Los Angeles before moving to Jacksonville in 1990.

The NE FLorida Chapter will acknowledge Kathy at the open house/reception on June 24.
Dedicating the new office to her, and  acknowledging her  contributions to the ACLU.
