Moving on Up ... Biscayne That Is
ACLU of Florida staff members got to show off the brand new affiliate offices at the May 5th meeting of the Board of Directors. After moving in on April 21 and scrambling for two weeks prior to the meeting, more than 50 board members gathered for the Florida Board's quarterly meeting, which ended with a cocktail party/open house hosted by the affiliate and Greater Miami chapter.
The newly-renovated office is just up the road from the old space -- 15 blocks north on one of Miami's main north-south thoroughfares. Our new address is 4500 Biscayne Blvd., Suite 340, Miami, FL 33137. Our phone number, (305) 576-2337, remains the same.
Having outgrown the previous space, the ACLU can now accommodate its new staff -- Sandy Vancol, Director of Foundation Relations & Gift Planning, Jessica Connor, Director of Memberships & Major Gifts, Courtenay Strickland, Voting Rights Project Coordinator and a South Florida staff counsel to be named -- while allowing for additional positions and programs in the future.
